The Coach
The Coach is the person that is there every step of the way. They watch you practice, they correct mistakes on the spot, they provide a game plan, they sweat with you, their success is your success, they enjoy your wins and feel your pain.
You may dislike your coach in the heat of battle but they are the person who you look towards later and realize they are the ones who helped you mold you into the person you are.
The Consultant
The Consultant is the person who tells you everything is going to be alright. They have no skin in the game. They say things to make sure you call them next time.
Lots of goody, goody but no progress towards the end results you are looking for.
They never challenge you and if they do it to read a book.
You always like your consultant until you realize your numbers haven’t change and it’s time for a change.
